How IrriBilt handles your data. Last updated: August 2026
What IrriBilt is
IrriBilt is a browser-based tool for marking up irrigation as-built drawings. It runs as a single web application with no server-side processing of your plans: uploading a site plan, placing valves and sprinklers, drawing zone piping, and exporting a finished as-built all happen locally in your browser.
Information we do not collect
Because your plans and markups are processed entirely on your own device, we do not receive, see, or store:
- The site plans, PDFs, or images you upload
- The valves, sprinklers, lines, zones, or other markup you create
- Project files you save (
.ibpfiles) - these save directly to your device, either through your browser's own save dialog or as a download, never through our servers - Exported PNG or PDF as-built drawings
If you use your browser's built-in save dialog to choose where a project file goes, that choice and the file itself stay entirely between you and your own operating system - IrriBilt has no visibility into it.
Information that may be collected
For accounts and paid access, we store your email, plan and payment identifiers, team seat assignments, browser registration identifier and label, last-seen time, credit balances, and export authorization records in Supabase. Stripe processes payments; we do not store full card details. Export records track credit usage, not your plan images or drawing contents. A browser registration identifier is stored locally to enforce the two-device limit.
A few categories of data are collected, either by our hosting provider as a normal part of serving the app, or by us directly if you interact with us:
Standard hosting logs
Like virtually any website, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information when you load the app - things like IP address, browser type, and general access times. This is standard web server activity, used only for keeping the service running reliably and securely, not for tracking individual usage of the app.
If you contact us for support
If you email us or otherwise reach out, we'll have whatever information you choose to share in that message, such as your email address and the contents of your message, used only to respond to you.
If you purchase a subscription
Stripe processes subscription and export-credit purchases. Supabase stores the account and access information needed to apply those purchases to your user account.
Cookies and tracking
IrriBilt does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts. The app does use a service worker - a standard browser feature that lets the app work offline and load quickly on repeat visits by caching its own files, the app code itself, not your data, on your device. This is a technical caching mechanism, not a tracking tool, and doesn't transmit anything back to us.
Third-party services
IrriBilt uses a small number of external code libraries, for rendering PDF files and generating exported PDFs, that are loaded from a public content delivery network when the app starts. These libraries run locally in your browser to power specific features and do not transmit your plans or project data anywhere.
Data security
Because your project data generally never leaves your device, the biggest security factor is the device and browser you use IrriBilt on. We'd recommend the same basic precautions you'd take with any sensitive business file: keep your device's operating system and browser up to date, and back up project files you want to keep, since a file that only exists on your device can be lost if that device is lost or damaged.
Children's privacy
IrriBilt is a professional tool intended for irrigation contractors and designers, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If IrriBilt's data practices change, for example, when paid subscriptions launch, we'll update this page and revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
